
Southern Environmental Center Director To Speak At Una

FLORENCE, Ala. — Environmentalist and educator Roald Hazelhoff will speak at the Ƶ on Tuesday, April 28. Hazelhoff's presentation entitled "Hug a tree and call me in the morning: the business case for greening the work place" will take place in Wesleyan Auditorium, 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.
Hazelhoff is founder and Executive Director of the Southern Environmental Center, located at Birmingham-Southern College. The Center is dedicated to teaching individuals how to preserve and improve local environments. This Earth Month activity, sponsored by Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society, UNA Habitat for Humanity, and the Shoals Environmental Alliance, is free and open to the public.
